THQ required a bespoke site and CMS that allowed them to centrally manage content and assets and push those to the local territories alleviating the load on local teams. With a technical brief creative could not be ignored, ultimately the site needed to be easily managed but still deliver a rich user experience.
We created a site that offers enormous flexibility with each THQ territory being able to control and manage their own local content without the worry of individual brands and more importantly THQ’s brand being incorrectly displayed and conveyed to the audience. The site offers more than just simple content management, with elements such as list building and profiling, game registration and sophisticated trafficking.
The site is massively popular within each territory and with new features and multiple levels of content users keep coming back for more. The site is being utilised to break news on key IP´s driving huge volumes of traffic away from conventional PR routes such as IGN etc. We can’t disclose key statistics but let´s say the site is going from strength to strength!
